Producing optimum processed goods.
Our production department, which produces 15,000~20,000 products yearly and 100~150 ordered items monthly, is composed of the process team, operating many general purpose equipment such as general purpose shelves, general purpose milling, etc., CNC selves, CNC compound shelves and machining center; and the assembly team, taking full charge of assembly, A/S and repairs.
Engineers in the process team are composed of machine process technicians who have more than 30 years of experience and have plentiful manufacturing experience and engineering power−enabling them to produce multi-products in small quantities and to satisfy a customer’s diverse product manufacturing orders. We changed old facilities to produce the best products so we have state-of-the-art facilities (five facilities from DMG/MORI SEIKI) that can satisfy a customer’s fixity, high-precision request. We also established a system that can carry out every process without subcontracting.
The newest CNC facility of the production department uses equipment that 3D Simulation Software which can see collision, processing conditions and shape of a product by preparing and entering a simple program before processing is equipped. Thus, defects of processed goods and loss of materials can be reduced and the best processed goods can be produced.
CNC facilities process a product that looks crude in appearance but an error of 0.1mm can make assembly impossible at the assembly stage, which is the last stage. Therefore, CNC facilities process precisely even for 0.01~0.001mm. We adopted CNC compound shelf (NL2500SY/700) equipment, the high-price, high-specifications (X,Y,Z,C, BAxis) equipment, first in the same line of business so we can mass-produce standard products (KR2200Ser, etc.) and reduce complex form and processing processes by programming and setting just once which used to produce through 1, 2, and 3 process steps. As a result, we have established a system that can deal with shortening of working hours, reduction of dents occurring when moving to the next process, and of cost and a deadline required by a customer.
Engineers in the assembly team have localized companies depending on imported products based on technical skills accumulated by producing and repairing diverse products of companies manufacturing rotary joint and rotary union around the world (deublin, Johnson, maier, pearl, etc.) that customers use. They also perfectly assemble any product of a customer and produce it in the best quality.
When producing all products, we do assembling jobs complying with the work operation sheet. We also can clean products with a complex form and even an important cleaning technical part requiring a detailed cleaning job as we have Ultrasonic Cleaning equipment first the same line of business (we can clean a small particle under 0.1㎛ by adjusting frequencies).
We produce products under the optimum conditions after removing minute details such as the gauge, deep holes and small-caliber holes of processed goods before assembly which can cause defects in a product’s performance and parts unidentifiable with the naked eye such as chips after process, using an industrial endoscope camera (DIGITAL ENDOSCOPE CAMERA).
We do lapping of the sealing part which is the core technology of the rotary joint ourselves without subcontracting. We also do lapping of each piece of equipment by categorizing a seal’s type, class and size. For 15’’ single side lapping M/C (IM-380I Cu Plate), we do first lapping and second lapping stage by stage using diamond powder (2~9㎛) and assemble products after verifying clear band on the seal’s surface and measuring and testing a plane degree and surface roughness using optical lens and fmd lamp.
Since the polishing process, the final process in the rotary joint machining process, is the process requiring the most precise size managing, we considered to purchase a CNC polishing machine (currently, all polishing processes are done by subcontracting).
